Let's Ride!!!
After having my red hot 'Toys R Us' bike stolen from me, I was a little hesistant to buy another one. It's been a few months since the incident and I hadn't really needed it. Things, however, are starting to pick up as the summer is fast approaching. Seems weird that not much happens during the 'winter' when it's still like 20 degrees outside. It did rain quite a bit but still nothing like minus 30/40 degrees outside. I guess it doesn't matter where you are in the world or how warm it really is, winter is winter and people feel sluggish during the winter season.
This past weekend I decided to give in and get a bike. Someone in rez told me about this organized garage sale that happens every Sunday morning. I've been going to quite a few garage sale lately and I think I'm turning into a garage sale junky or something. My housemates probably think I'm either the cheapest or poorest person because the only time I buy something is at garage sales.
Anyways so I get to this garage sale by 7:30am. Yeah I know it's a little early but everyone knows you have to get there early before all the good stuff is gone. To my disappointment, the selection wasn't great and quite slim. There was this one bike that looked fairly new but the guy wouldn't nudge on his original ticket price. So I chose to let it go and try my luck at the next stall. I ended up getting this 21 speed bike for only $45. That's a pretty sweet price but I'm still worried about it because some parts of it is a little rusty. Oh well, as long as it does it's job who cares right? I've never owned a 21 speed bike before. Honestly, I don't really know how the gears work and when you're suppose to use which gear.
