Tuition free week

We had two weeks of Tuition Free week, which is basically reading week. I love having a break in the middle of the semester but it does get boring after awhile. The motivation to do any kind of work is non-existent at the moment. So I've decided to fill up my time with my favourite hobbies, cooking, exercise, and photography. It's great because the more I exercise, the more I can eat without feeling too guilty. But all I have to say is thank goodness I'm not trying to lose any weight. The stuff I can is healthy but at the end of the day, calories are calories. Sometimes I think my drive to exercise is food.

Perth have built some truly amazing bike paths all around the city. It still amazes me to see all these bike paths everywhere and all along the river. There's basically this Swan river that's in the middle of the city and bike paths all along it. We live right by a section of the river and we ride along it to get to school everyday. But I've been riding to other parts of the path to see where it takes me. It's really beautiful to ride along it and not worry about cars. I've taken some pics of the river...enjoy...

I love how calm the water was that day. The water formed a perfect reflection of the trees.

There was this guy fishing in the water and it was a good thing I took this pick when I did because he was ready to pack it in for the day. This pic kinda seems like he's just watching the sunset and thinking about life.

This was taken on another day when the sun just turned the river into an amazing reddish- gold colour.

This was just a small taste of my pics. I joke around all the time about opening a stand at a market and selling some of my photos. Since I know for a fact that some people (cough, becks, cough cough) are copying my photos and sending them to their family, I'm going to have to start branding my photos or charging fees.
