Negative enegy

A month ago KP's brother and wife came to visit her. They had just moved from Vancouver to Toronto and we quickly discovered that they also live around Greek town. Wow we're pretty much neighbors. That's quite exciting because that means I will definitely be seeing KP when we all graduate and go off to our separate directions.

When they left KP's sister-in-law told her that she had left this small little gremlin somewhere in our house. This plastic gremlin was supposely used to store all of her negatively over the years. Now we're not talking about a year. She has had this thing for years. Before they got on the plane, she simply told KP that she left it in a very hot corner where it will melt to death. Why she felt the need to leave her negativity at OUR house is beyond me. Come on, we are all physio students, trying extremely hard to get through this difficult course. We don't need any negativity in our house, especially someone else's. No wonder they kept wishing us the best of luck.

Well they should know better than to mess with us, especially when my family is so close to their place. We're going to send that little sucker back to Canada, after we melt a little bit of it. Then I'm going to get someone to freeze the gremlin in a big block of ice and then place it right on their front porch. Hopefully it'll stay cold so they'll have no choice but to chisel it out. We'll send the gremlin back with a friend to peak their curiosity and ensure that they'll actually get it out of the ice. It'll be waiting for them when they get home from work. Too bad Valentine's day have pasted already. Haha...That'll show them to leave all that negativity with us.

Pet Peeve

Since we've begun our hunt for a housemate I have developed a new pet peeve. Since the beginning of Febuary we've been trying to find a new housemate to fill a vacant room. We've put an ad in at the school housing list but apparently they screwed up our information. We were wondering why we haven't gotten any calls when KP said that last year they had heaps of interest. The mishap was eventually and we started getting tons of calls except a new, annoying problem began. People would call me and arrange a time to come check out the place and then they don't even show up. One girl even called to confirm and say that she would be an hour late. Then she didn't show. It was a Friday night and I had better things to do than to sit there all night waiting for a stranger. Is it really that hard to have a little bit of courtesy and respect for others???

Well a few days ago we finally found someone and it wasn't without a thought of deja vu. His name is Phil and he said that he was coming over around 4ish. Well by 6pm there was still no sign of Phil. Fortunately he called around 8 and explained that he fell asleep due to jet lag. He just got back from vacationing in Brazil and couldn't stay awake. Fair enough I guess...At least our quest to find a housemate is over. Hopefully this doesn't change the awesome dynamics that we have going on here. Only time will tell...

It seems like the rate of my blogs are slowing down dramatically but don't worry I'll pick it up. I've been in one of my lazy moods lately. Allow me to get you all back to the present...

We've started back to school last week and so far the semester looks as though it will be a LOT lighter compared to the past year. I figure if I got through last year, I could get through this next year with slightly more ease.

As for baseball/softball, the seasons are starting to wind down. We have semis and finals this weekend so the seasons should be done either this weekend or the following, depending if we advance or not. I'm going to need something else to do in the "winter", any suggestions??

Everyone's been asking me about the weather and it's been quite these past two weeks. It's been consistently in the high 30's. Last weekend it scorched up to very uncomfortable 42C.
